BibleGlow (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI-generated Biblical insights to help users receive encouragement, scripture-based reflections, and spiritual guidance. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and the choices available to users (“you”).

BibleGlow is designed to respect your privacy. We do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, phone number, location, or device identifiers.

BibleGlow does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information.

We may collect the following limited categories of data:

a. Text Input Provided by You

When you ask a question or describe how you are feeling, the text you provide is sent securely to our server and then to OpenAI for processing.

• This text is used solely to generate a Biblical verse and an AI-assisted reflection.
• Your text is processed by OpenAI’s API to generate a response.
• OpenAI does not use your data to train their models.
• OpenAI may temporarily retain API inputs and outputs for a limited time (for example, to monitor for abuse and ensure service security), after which they are deleted.
• We do not store your questions on our servers other than temporarily to complete the request.
• If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and do not use it for marketing.

b. App Usage Data (Anonymous)

We may collect basic, non-personal analytics such as:

• Feature usage counts (e.g., how many times “Ask Bible” is used)
• Crash logs
• Subscription status (via RevenueCat)

This data is non-identifiable and cannot be linked to you.

c. Subscription Transactions

Subscription purchases are processed by:

• Apple (App Store)
• RevenueCat (manages entitlement status)

RevenueCat does not receive personal data such as your name or email. Only anonymous transaction identifiers are processed.

We use data only to:

• Provide Bible verses and reflections
• Improve app performance
• Validate subscription access

We do not use data for advertising, behavioral tracking, profiling, or marketing.

BibleGlow uses OpenAI’s API to generate reflections.
OpenAI:

• Processes your text via the OpenAI API to generate reflections
• Does not use your data to train models
• May temporarily retain API data for abuse monitoring and system safety, then deletes it

This aligns with OpenAI’s API Data Usage Policy.

BibleGlow does not store:

• Messages
• User profiles
• Device identifiers
• Contact information
• Health or sensitive data

All requests are ephemeral and exist only during processing.

BibleGlow uses the following trusted services:

• OpenAI – text processing
• RevenueCat – subscription validation
• Apple App Store – in-app purchase handling

Each service adheres to strict privacy and security standards.

BibleGlow is rated 4+ and contains no inappropriate content.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
BibleGlow does not use or require non-exempt encryption algorithms.

Because we do not collect or store personal data, the following rights apply in a limited capacity:

BibleGlow offers premium features via auto-renewable subscriptions.
By subscribing:

• Payments are handled through Apple App Store
• Renewal occurs unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal
• RevenueCat is used solely to verify entitlement

Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple, not BibleGlow.

BibleGlow is provided “as is,” without warranties.
We are not liable for any damages arising from:

• Reliance on AI-generated content
• Service interruptions
• Technical issues

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse is detected.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida.
